How do Colleges of Education need to change?
One of the axioms of education is that we “teach the way we were taught.” Students go through higher education and are perpetuating the same antiquated model of education. How do Higher Education institutions need to change to produce 21st Century teachers? Discuss your higher ed experience, your experience with first-year teachers, or even better what you dream Colleges of Education could look like.
Conversational Practice
We will start with setting the context of the discussion, breaking out into small groups for discussion that is captured on Google Docs and then back to the large group where we will Mind Map the intersections of ideas
