Increasingly the world requires our students to speak and listen in a second or even third language but teachers face many challenges in cultivating these skills. This session will discuss options that individual teachers can pursue on their own as well as examine larger systematic changes that require collaboration between teachers, the world language department and both local and district school administrators. Techniques and strategies to be discussed include
