Chris Walsh
About Me
Chris Fitzgerald Walsh is an experienced K-12 educator, web & media producer, and entrepreneur. He is a popular speaker and trainer focused on the ways that digital tools can improve teaching and learning. Chris currently serves as the Director of Innovation & Design for the New Tech Network (NTN) which supports more than 85 project-based, high-tech high schools nationwide. He leads NTNs R&D efforts and is the lead designer for New Techs online learning platform, Echo. His past projects include Edutopias Digital Generation Project, the U.S. Dept. of Ed’s “Doing What Works” website, the Google Teacher Academy, and the Infinite Thinking Machine. Chris earned his M.A. in Learning, Design, and Technology from Stanford, and a B.A. and M.Ed. from UCLA.
