George Engel is an award winning teacher recognized for his pioneering work with mobile technology in the classroom. He has been teaching secondary mathematics for nearly twenty years and for the last four been teaching his mathematics classes using cell phones. He has presented both nationally and internationally on the topic of designing curriculum to use mobile technology in the classroom. He also finds time to work on a PhD in educational technology, write a blog, and be a husband and father. He is a proud member of the Mobilist Nation and is considered a Mobilist Extraordinaire. Finally, he is the host of ISTEs SIGML Monthly Webinar.
