At SLA, we have come together to try to further each other’s knowledge, wisdom and abilities. To do that, we all need to feel safe, valued and respected. To that end, we offer the following three guidelines for student behavior:

  • Respect and care about yourself.
  • Respect and care about the community and its members.
  • Respect and care that this is a place of learning

At EduCon, we expect the EduCon community to adhere to the same standards as we do at SLA. This means that any and all harassment, discrimination or bullying that would interfere with the powerful learning and respect that happens at EduCon is deeply against the ethos of this conference and our school and will not be tolerated.

If you experience this behavior or see someone engaging in this behavior, we implore you to report it to the EduCon conference co-chairs immediately. There will always be someone in the SLA Main Office to help.

Individuals engaging in this behavior will be told to leave the conference at the discretion of the conference co-chairs and banned from future EduCons. Individuals engaging in criminal activity at EduCon will be reported to the police.
