I was a former middle school science teacher in the School District of Philadelphia through the Teach For America program. Since then, I have transitioned into college counseling and advising first-generation, low-income high school students and currently am the Director of High School Support Services at Steppingstone Scholars, a nonprofit that creates college-prep opportunities for underserved students in Philadelphia.
